Most excellent! Thanks Erik, for this peek behind the veil… and for sharing with folks how the magic gets made — your patience is only topped by your talent! Rock on!
I would love to combine this with my ceramic work 🥰 I just need to think of something creative, either with clay or preferably with already fired pieces.
Thank you so much for sharing the bts of a bit of your process :) I was wondering, do you happen to have a link you could share for the overhead tripod you used? And would you recommend it? I've been debating purchasing one for a while now...thank you!
Thanks! I can’t find the link for the exact model of overhead tripod I use. Honestly I don’t love the clamp on it. Also I realized later that the clamp is meant to go on the back! 😅 No wonder it kept getting in the way!
If you search for the LISEN Gooseneck Phone Holder it seems like the upgrade to what I have and it only costs around $20. I think it’s worth the investment, especially if you want to make animations and videos.
This is amazing, thank you so much! I had a play with stop motion a couple of years ago but gave up too early I think. Keen to give it another try after seeing this.
just downloaded the software. can’t wait to play with this, thanks, erik. by the way, this tala schlossberg feature made me think of your awesome art: https://youtu.be/YxZXnBFdHaA?si=cZOEqII0C2aqKklr

That’s such a great idea. I’d love to see that.
Pro tip: don’t think of anything creative just make something first. You might accidentally have a creative idea in the process anyway!
I meant with creative, a storyline. After all, it’s all about telling a story. Have a wonderful weekend when it comes 🙋🏻♀️
I could watch this all day! Need an assistant?
Haha! Sure!
love it
I had no idea you could use headphones volume for remote shutter! Top tip!!
